Or should I wait til I watch the first season?
Eat pie and watch Fern Gully.
I'm not a fan of pie.

Then eat ice cream and watch Rolie Polie Olie.
Honestly, I'd say no. A lot of what would have meaning to those who have followed the show will be lost (*snicker*) on you. I don't think you'd get as much out of it. Not that it's deep, there's just a season's worth of knowledge to catch up on.
If you don't have cable, you may not have much of an option.

Catch up on the music in the Dump instead. Or download bittorrent and start downloading Lost season 1.

No cable = no DSL. It is broken. They're coming at 5 to fix it, unless I can figure it out before then.

Cable and DSL in the kitchen? That'd be awesome!
Perhaps you didn't use your DSL to their fullest extent. Try to do better tonight.
Tombstone is on TNT tonight. Roadhouse is on CMT. To Kill a Mockingbird is on TurnerSouth. I'll probably watch Still Standing and Yes Dear on CBS.

Y'know, with a wireless router, EVERYONE can have Cable & DSL in their kitchen.
Now that they have those intelligent refrigerators that can control your entire house, I sort of see the benefit.
