Title: Musical Rhapsody
Post by: sugar_grrl on September 19, 2005, 01:46:36 PM
Just wondering if any other music fanatics have Rhapsody (I know you do VP).

www.real.com/rhapsody or www.listen.com or www.rhapsody.com

Basically it's a service where you pay about 5 bucks a month to access thousands of artists and albums and listen to whatever you want when you're at your computer.  Perfect for peeps who want to listen to an entire album without having to download the whole frickin thing just to find out that it sucks.  I think they're doing some kind of 14 day free trial, so you might just want to try it out if you're really in to music.

The REASON I ask is cuz I need some new playlists to listen to at work.  I don't want to go through the hassle of making them myself cuz that takes time that I would rather spend slacking on Junto (or maybe working....).  I'm more than willing to share my playlists as well....so....yeah...I have some VERY interesting selections....

Oh yeah, VP...e-mail me that housewarming party playlist por favor (at yahoo).

I have it.  My work computer is a Mac, though, so I can't help you at the moment.

Double shucks.  If you have a superfab playlist or radio station or something like that, I would totally love to hear it.

I just wasn't using as much as I did initially to warrant continued payment.

I met a man from Tennessee
This is what he said to me
He said, "Music is a rhapsody"

He picked up his violin
Stuck it underneath his chin
Started playin' me a symphony

I said "That ain't the way it's done
Let me see that fiddle, son!"
And I sawed him off a chorus or two

He said "You better call the doctor
'cause I think I got the rockin'
boogie-woogie fiddle country blues"

I have it.  Comcast gave it to me for free.  I haven't really played with it much - I just set up a couple of stations and listen to them at work.
