Since moving from the desert, I find that I've become obsessed with my canines' defecatory and urinary occurrences. SINCE many of them occur IN THE HOUSE.
In Nevada, these things were easy to clean up, as they dried quickly and responded well to commercial carpet cleaner. Here it's like living inside a terrarium. Ugh. That, combined with the fact that the old dog really doesn't care WHERE he goes makes Dazie a frazzled doggy owner.
I think it's time to put Digger down. I know- I've been saying that for a year now. But damn. We've got plastic all over the hallway, and I just stepped in a wet spot on the kitchen rug. (luckily washable) I can't keep up.
Have you ruled out the possibility that he might have a bladder infection?

No. But the dog's 18 at least, riddled with lymphoma, has 3 teeth, a nasty yeast infection in his ear, cataracts... I think we should name him Lucky.
If he wasn't so damn chipper all the time we'd have put him down already.
