But I hate getting a kernel stuck in my gums. This is truly bothering me.
I eat popcorn with chopsticks.
The kernel shells are just part of eating popcorn. You have to take in the bad with the good.

You would, freak. :)
I can't stand the smell of whatever accellerant they put in microwave popcorn, but I like real popcorn. Except when one of those little bits of hard kernel shell cover pieces wedges itself into one of the weird folds on the roof of your mouth. Actually, I don't mind when it happens to YOUR mouth. Mine's a different story.
You know, Gamp, I specialize in kernel-shell-on-roof-of-mouth retrieval, if you know what I mean. ;D

My gums still hurt from the kernel shell. It was stuck in my gumline and I had to get it out with a toothpick. I now need a dentist appointment.
You should've called hattmoward!
One time I got a flake of red pepper stuck between a tooth and the gum. Oh man, did that suck.

I dunno, that spot is tricky, even for my agile, uhh, "talent".
I used to work at a place that made 70 different flavors of popcorn.
Lime popcorn is just n-ass-ty.
I still use an Orville Redenbacher Power Pop device to pop popcorn in the microwave. None of the fancy smell that Gamp likes so much.
