I should have put it in the fridge this morning but forgot.
Microwave it.
Thaw it right. Eat it tomorrow.
Have your mom do it.
The correct way is to put it in a pan under a stream of cold water from the tap. It will thaw in a couple of hours (and not be poisonous at the end).

If it still takes two hours, looks like it's ham sandwiches again for dinner.
When I need to thaw chicken really fast I just go to the store and buy thawed chicken.

That's what I ended up doing.
We're lucky. My grandma use to tell me for chicken dinner she'd go outside, grab a chicken by the head and spin the body around to "ring it's neck". Then pluck the feathers off etc etc. Over that, I'll take Purdue anyday.
i've plucked those feathers.
and god - last weekend, when i was cooking for the junto team - the chicken i was roasting had a whole section where someone was not very accurate in their plucking. these were not little underfeathers. these were FEATHERs. sheesh.
