If I hear Uninvited one more time, I think I am going to stick pens in my ears.
The lady that sits across from me has listened to the same 2 songs on the City of Angels soundtrack almost everyday since I started. I like the song, but holy fuck?! I hear it about 4 times a day.
I need to break the CD.
Just beat her severely, then drop the CD on her face as you walk out. She'll get the point.
Have her play the Sarah McLaughlin song.

That is the other one she plays...I can't hear that one usually.
Is United the band or the song?
I don't know either of those songs.
Uninvited by Alanis Morissette - Track 2 off the soundtrack.

I like Angel.

Tell her that the voices in your head have instructed you to kill or maim anything within 20 feet each time you hear those songs. Then break something of hers and grin like you're deranged. Then quietly walk away arguing with the voices in your head and twitch while you do it.
Alanis Morrisette is a plague. She makes teens and tweens think that if you can make two words rhyme, you can have a singing career. So all these girls sit at home writing angsty poetry and singing it to the three chords they know on their Wal-Mart geetars, with hopes of becoming as big as Alanis. Do the words have to make sense? Ironic says no. Does the song have to have a good tune? Uninvited says no.
She is the start of a frightening trend of music. Someone should take Alanis, Avril and any other french canadian with an 'a' name and bury them in a grave full of their own bile and nail clippings.
I hate her.
~~End Rant~~

My parents said similar things about the music I listen too as well. Isn't ironic... don't you think?
