Title: Posting graphic on my sig
Post by: VikingJuice on March 19, 2008, 09:42:53 PM
I wanted to insert a graphic for the NFL draft into my signature.  I found the coding from the following site:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story;jsessionid=F425ACCF08BA5D1E7B73C0E02C43C3D2?id=09000d5d8074942c&template=with-video&confirm=true

but when I tried to insert it, instead of getting the graphic face with the counter, I got the code and an active link showing up in my signature.  Can anyone tell me how to set the display to show properly?

Also, this might be a useful thread to post instructions on other display type issues like inserting pics into signatures, making youtube clips show up as clips and not links like Beefy helped me with recently and so on.

I'd like to see you try!

No, really.  That'd be awesome, because I'm like really super far away!

Something like this.  You'll have to play around with it.  Quote me to see code.

Perhaps, Hatt, Reburn, or dc could suggest how to get rid of the white bars on top and bottom.

Oh, I didn't mean for you to have to shrink it.  Sorry.  :)   But it's good.

I was already thinking it was a little too big but then when you mentioned something too, it just made sense.  Besides, I just threw a little cold water on it and ta-da!

It's killing the refresh speed on the site though...  :(

OR- that could be something entirely unrelated.

Flash will slow down your browser a little, but not much.   What really makes Junto crap itself is when someone uses search. (Don't go try)

Someone do a search for "the" and post the results.

You were that little bastard that hit all the buttons on the elevator and then jumped off weren't you?

PS.  If the sig link is eating up too many Junto resources, let me know and I'll pull it down.

The other day I was helping my dad work on his computer.  He got frustrated and started pushing the buttons on the top of the keyboard.  Then he was like, "Why is all this stuff (media player, etc) opening up??"  And I asked him which buttons he pushed, and he said, "I don't know, I can't see what they say without my glasses."

Then I mocked him and he giggled.
