Do your animals follow you into the bathroom?
Stevie has to be in the bathroom with me any time I'm in there. If I just need to go in for a second, she jumps up on the sink and plays. If I'm taking a bubble bath, she plays with the bubbles. If I'm taking a shower, she stands on the side of the tub and sticks her head around the shower curtain.
I have invited my dogs to get into the shower with me just because it seems like a much easier way to give them a quick bath. So far none of them have been brave enough to do more than stick their nose through the door.
Bruce follows me everywhere. My bathroom is too small for him to come into at the same time as me. But I've started going to the bathroom with the door open because the latch doesn't work 100% well. Which would be fine except a few times he's been so desperate to be near me, that he's taken a running leap at the door and slammed it open onto my knees and toes. So it was either pee with the door open, or have to resist the urge to Vick my dog while my toes are bleeding and my vision is blurry from the pain in my knees.
Stevie went through a phase last week where she didn't like me and paid me no attention, but now she's back to following me everywhere I go.
She also has a routine of hiding under my bed every morning and attacking my feet while I'm trying to get ready.
Zeus likes to come into the bathroom when I'm showering or taking a bath- he tries to drink the bathwater, which is kind of gross.
Albert will ocassionally follow me into the WC and try to be lovey while I'm doing my thing. Then he bites. I figured I'd thwart the vampcat by pulling my pants up as far as I can while sitting, but he gets around that by going around the side and biting me in the butt.
Stupid vampcat.
Buddy will follow me to the bathroom door, and just stop there. Delia (the cat) has to be in there with me, usually rubbing on my legs.
I just piss on the pooch and cut out the middle man.
There is no way I would ever use the bathroom with an animal in the room with me.
freaks
Stevie licks the bath tub after I shower. If I take a bubble bath, she gets in and plays with the residual bubbles.
Sometimes when I'm taking a bath she walks on me.
