If you guys would read that article and some of the following gibberish (we're allowed to comment on newspaper articles) I'd like your input.
Basically, people are up in arms about a popular Tshirt in town that says "Muck Fizzou" so they've been lobbying to come up with something equally as pithy and less offensive. :blabla:
Now people at Mizzou have come up with a Tshirt that shows the sacking and burning of Lawrence by Quantrill and his raiders. There's also a quote: "Raise the black flag and ride hard, boys. Our cause is just and our enemies many." :blabla:
Now- MORE people are cranky about this shirt, as you can see by the comments.
I am a little surprised at the reference to a raid by pro-slavery (or perhaps anti-abolitionist) raiders on what was at the time a bastion of free-staters (abolitionists). Seems to me to thinly support slavery in a way.
However, in my opinion- they're both pretty tasteless, but come on- it's fucking football. Who really cares?
LSU is going to fuck KU in the national championship.
And we aren't using lube.
eew- you're welcome to it. Have you SEEN the KU coach??

I would think that being a coach would require some level of physical fitness.

coaching is probably what is keeping him from developing a significant gravitational pull

Texas A&M fans have for years been wearing shirts that read "Tuck Fexas!" So if anything, they're just ripping off the ridiculous Texas state rivalry. And neither of those compare to the OU shirt that says "OU-UT. Hold on to your balls" referring to the guy who was a Texas fan and actually almost lost...a valued member of his company because he wore a UT shirt into a bar in OU and was talking shit.

I have a feeling the A&M fans didn't invent switching letters either.

You're probably right because that means they'd need to learn to spell first.

Good article. Border Showdown my foot. It's still a war- very odd.
Oh very hip. I was hoping to catch the game, but didn't want to leave the kids home while I went to a bar. Check this out:

The game has the makings of a doosey!! If it's anything close to the LSU/Arkasas game last night, we're all in for a fun time.
PS. Sorry Swolt.

Yeah- I thought about that this morning.
I dare not laugh or boast though, being at the top is a precarious position!

And never more precarious than this season. Last night they ran a graphic that said 7 teams ranked 1 or 2 were knocked off by unranked squads this season. And that doesn't even mention the #1 or 2 squads beaten by ranked but lesser teams. It's been the most unpredictable college football season I've ever seen and I've been watching college ball since around 1987-1988 when my grandfather got me hooked on it.
It's been soooo fun!!
That was a sad game last night. LSU didn't deserve to win.
I'm pulling for Kansas tonight, but they aren't doing so well at the moment.
Oh ugh. Anyone but Mizzou. :(
