Title: Home made Gingerale, courtesy of Mike
Post by: Youphoric on April 20, 2005, 10:30:32 AM
"one cup sugar, one cup water, an inch or so of ginger, sliced into THIN coins...

slap it in a little pot and boil it until the sugar fully melts, stirring a little bit, then remove it from heat, and let it cool completely.

Then just take a tall glass, fill it 2/3 with ice, put in two tablespoons of syrup, and fill with club soda."

I don't believe that I have ever actually purchased ginger root.  I may have to try this recipe just so I have an excuse to buy it.

I'm hooked on Gingerale, and I'm so excited to try this.

G, just ask Grumpus nicely if he'd mind giving it a shot :)
