I came home and Butters seems to be hoarse. I thought she'd maybe cried a lot while we were gone, but she's also shaking her head like her ears are itchy or something.
I can tell that she's swallowing like she has a sore throat, but she's been eating while I was gone (mom's been checking on them every day for me).
Do cats get colds? She seems to have the symptoms of a cold if she were a human, with a sore throat and maybe earache or itchy ears.
Any thoughts? I guess if she doesn't feel better in a couple days we'll be going to the vet.
Satan is infesting her body. Don't worry, it will end shortly, and the cat will start running your life with its evil intents.
She's a cat. She already runs my life.
Cats are notorious for hiding any symptons of illness. If she appears to feel unwell to you, she might be feeling worse than you think. Or she could just be hoarse. Or looking for attention.
Sounds like what happened to Bruce when he had a spider living in his ear.
Well, I looked in her ears to see if maybe she had mites or something, but they look clean and healthy. Her voice seems to be a lot better this morning. I'm gonna keep a close eye on her, though.
did butters make it?

Or lose an eye from a ninja star?
She's fine now. It makes me sad to know that she cried herself hoarse, though. My mom obviously didn't visit her enough.
