Title: Banjo
Post by: Bishamonten on May 29, 2007, 06:34:29 PM
I've been studying Piedmont blues and have to decided to pick up the banjo as well - specifically clawhammer style banjo playing.

It's going to be awesome.

I learned a little banjo when I was a teen. As much as you can from a Mel Bay beginning banjo book and five hours of messing around at least.

It was pretty fun. And hard.

My brother-in-law has a mandolin. What are the odds that I would know two people who have mandolins?

One of my roomates in College bought a mandolin.  He was then frustrated because I learned the mandolin solo from "Stonehenge" before he did.
