Hahaha, that's great.

I'm starting to like this living alone thing too.  A few times, I've drank straight out of the milk carton.  Because I can.

I drink out of the Gatorade bottle.

I decide when the house is dirty enough to do chores.

No "reality" TV.

I am slowly making a paper mache beaver dam out of all of the junkmail I have not yet thrown out or shredded.

I don't live alone, and still drink from the Gatorade bottle.

I walk around naked.

I dance to Mickey Mouse Club and Little Einsteins music.

I have my own toilet.

hey. i thought *i* had invented the beaver dam thing. do you have to step over it before coming fully into your house? i use it like an alligator moat for unwanted visitors. while they're trying to navigate all the dangerous circulars, i can drop boiling oil on their heads.

Mine is still up in the study.  It's too big to work on right by the door so I have to make it in pieces and then bring them down as they're completed.

I should have HD and surround sound in there shortly after it's complete.

today, for some reason, it was a kind of cheesy pop folksong from 1971 - sunshine, by jonathan edwards. i think i heard it somewhere over the past couple of days and realized that i actually liked it.

and yes, the repeat cycle was partially to get rid of "it's a dead man's party". it's not a bad song, but, like zombies, it's very hard to get rid of.

Im sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
Ive got to be free, free to face the life thats ahead of me
On board, Im the captain, so climb aboard
Well search for tomorrow on every shore
And Ill try, oh lord, Ill try to carry on

I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy, some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had
We live happily forever, so the story goes
But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold
But well try best that we can to carry on

A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope, and this is what they said
They said come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me

I thought that they were angels, but to my surprise
They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies
Singing come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me

That was my graduation theme song.

Easiest way for both is a shotgun blast to the head.

You forgot the other obvious benefit.  You can have as many monks over as you want.
