We're having a sleepover playdate tonight for China.
One of Bo's student's families is moving and has to get rid of their dog. Zeus will be 1 on St Patrick's Day and is spending the weekend with us to make sure he and China get along well before we decide to keep him.
They do. :)
Plus, when I was in the shower, he came and sat in the tub. An odd duck this one, not very Zeus-like, so I'm going to call him Goose.

Plus he's got those laser eye things, so that's handy.
you let the dog shower with you?
Well it isn't like I was expecting it. I turned around and he hopped in and sat down.
and you let him stay there?
For a minute. He wasn't doing anything.
I had a dog in college that would get in the shower with whomever was in there. He liked getting shampooed.
My cat in Ga, Trillian, would walk around on me while I took a bath. She was weird, too.
I love that dog. I so want a big dog, as soon as I get a house.
Well, it's officious. Goose is a Dingii for the long haul. :)
He just got his ass kicked by China. I think that's good for him.
Congrats on acquiring a new family member.
Thanks.
First thing we did was go out and get him some decent dog food. The previous owners had been feeding him "Disney's Ol' Yeller"
I kid you not. eew.
Hooray for doggies!!!
HAH! Now he's meeting the neighbor's cat.
Disney makes dog food?

Disney makes dog food?
Not exactly. Disney buys chunks of crap that they MARKET as dog food. First ingredient: ground yellow corn. Also lots of salt. The damn dog drank nearly a gallon of water in about an hour the other night.

Yeah- it's like the dog version of transubstantiation. :)
Beautiful dog.
I think he ate my mouse ball.
What's a mouse ball?
The little ball that's on the inside of a computer mouse. He knocked the mouse off the desk yesterday, and I can find the mouse, but not the ball.
Check his poop.
I don't need it back that badly.
Watch your screen's cursor to see if moves when he starts scooching across the carpet.
Found the mouse ball- it had rolled under the safe. Yay!..
Also- Zeus now has a crate- big enormous thing that it is. He's in it right now, seems to not hate it, which is a plus. He goes in of his own volition and doesn't try to tear it up when I close the door.
Our dogs love their crates. We rarely actually close the doors on them, but if they do have to be locked up, they don't mind at all.

And just like dogs, they'll still love you later.
Gosh, that's just so wrong.
Timothy never cried about his crate. of course, the duct tape on his mouth probably helped with that.

Fixed that for ya.
Thanks!
You're ever so welcome!
He did very well in the crate today. I'm thinking that was $90 well spent. :)
Crates can be very, very good for dogs. Lots of them love them because they have their own private place to go where nobody will bug them.
Just thought I'd let y'all know that Goose snores.
Sheesh- 3 cops and 1 animal control just to tell Tim to keep the dog on a leash. ::)
