I have uploaded a short video clip of me performing a "Touch-And-Go" on the Ang.Hody GMail account. The sound you hear at the beginning of the clip is a different plane near my wife who was filming me. I land with the engine idle but you can hear my plane's engine when I take off.
That's so excellent! Look at you gooooooo!
the next travolta. ;)
Here is a pic of my wife taxing down the runway.

It's an unlicensed sport. Anyone could jump in one and fly with no training. Mind you, they would die pretty quickly. We got training in Phoenix AZ. It took us 2 weeks from never having flown to be compentent enough to solo.
You can pay $50 or so to go up with an instructor to check it out. I don't know how close this is but you could probably find out more info here:

I just got to watch the video.
That is so effing awesome.

How fast does that thing go? How many hp?
It has a 50 hp engine and it cruises around 45mph. I have gotten it up to 70mph at full throttle with a good tail wind. It isn't really built for speed. There are different wing configurations that are faster but we like the slowness of it.
Do you own it yourself? What is the cost on one of those things? What's the largest cannon that could fit it?

It costs about as much a really nice motorcycle.
I have duel 40mm machine guns mounted on the wheel housings so I can shoot geese and deer. Unfortunately, I can only fire in short bursts before they overheat.

If he's not a really accurate shot, she may be running to dodge the bullets.
