My insides kicked in Thursday night, and I was going to call into work and stay home Friday to let things take their course but then my boss called me and told me he was sick so I took a few pain pills and went into work.  My boss never calls in sick, ever.  Maybe once or twice a year.  So I went in.  I can hardly complain.  For those who don't know, I can take Motrin or Midol and it takes the edge off my insides, but when it wears off, I'm in more pain than before.  Anyway, point being, I have spent the last day and a half in and out of sleep, letting the after affects take their course.  It's a weird, restless time.  Hard to concentrate.

Why do I bring this all up?  Because it has led me to watch (again) an awesome movie, containing the single greatest mustache in modern Hollywood history.  And the mustache holds my attention.  The mustache holds everyone's attention.  Obey the mustache.

Robots on the rampage rouser??

I'm sorry you don't feel well- you're obviously delirious.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

The ONLY good part of that movie is the remote explosives.  That's it.  The rest just sucked in that Robo-cop-lame-ass-plot sort of way.

Beefy

It pre-dated Robocop.  And had Kirstie Alley before she was a weight loss ad.

And it was directed by Michael Crichton.

And had a very scary scary Gene Simmons in it.

And Kirstie Alley was wicked hot back then.  Hell, with the weight loss now she's still hot.  In that nutso kind of way.

Jessie

we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

You're obsessed with Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Maybe a little.

She's so great in Stranger Than Fiction, but then I watched the extras and her interviews...

Haven't seen that.  This is a really good movie, though.

meredith

we just went to see Dead Silence

not bad, but some of the transitions and music felt like they came from a real low-budget production

I love Maggie Gyllenhal too.  There's something very hypnotic about her that I can't quite put my finger on.  And of course, she's hot too, which doesn't hurt.
