I was chatting with nallen earlier and he talked me into taking pictures of some of the crap we've got and I realized that most of the stuff we've got is water/boat related.  Here's a sampling.  (click to enlarge - but don't critique me on my photography skills)

This is the Thomas Point Lighthouse - very near our house.

This is by an artist that Grumpus really likes.  It's some guy fishing near the Indian River Inlet between Bethany Beach and Dewey Beach in Delaware.

Same artist.  This is the old rescue station.

Yet again the same artist.

Same artist again (not yet framed - it's new)

Some other lighthouses.

Some sailboats.

What adorns your walls?

I have mostly CW pics by the artist Mort Kunstler.  I'll take pics later and post them.

Downstairs I have Van Gogh's Starry Night, and lots of family pics.  Our downstairs bathroom was supposed to be nautical, boats etc, but I never got everything back up after I decided to paint it.

Tim has train stuff on his walls, plus a bedsheet with the crossed St. Andrew's Cross and the Star Spangled Banner.  He did a CW report last year and we painted it.

Kate has a poster of Johnny Depp stapled to the ceiling over her bed.  :)

In our bedroom are maps.

I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

Gamplayerx

What's CW?  And what the heck is up with you people and acronyms?

eo000

The basement has most of the stuff.

hangers, and a bar to hang the hangers on.

Don't forget about Nishi's large collection of hoop skirts.

those are cosplay crinolines. for a civil war buff, you need to do some remedial work on fashions of the times.

I'm lost
It's a painting he USED to have (and a very pretty one, too).

Those are great, Dazie!

I got that much.  :)

Sorry, took me a while.  The landscape is way too low on the wall because my mother hung it when we moved in, and she's about 8 inches too short to put it at the right level.  The mirror thing does have all the stock photos ;D, and all the posters are Nikki's.

A noble click embiggens the smallest image.

There's a gallery of that and some shots of the cat and dog here

What the heck is the non-umbrella thing on the mirror?

Guess she's a Good Charlotte fan.

???  That's a pair of ice scrapers. :)

Yeah, she is.  Coincidentally, she got to meet them (again) at a concert last night.  She had a neandercam with her, so I imagine she'll roll out of bed at 9 to go get the film developed.   :P

Gamplayerx

Neandercam.  I like that.

The Good Charlotte twins used to be hairdressers around here.

I did not know that.  I like them, they're not bad -- I might have gone to the concert if I didn't have to wade in a sea of 14-year-old girls.  :D
