Title: Tarnation
Post by: Alice on January 04, 2006, 12:05:39 PM
I caught the last hour of this film last night.  I was getting ready to head to bed but was having a few minutes of cuddle time with Bruce.  Then I flipped to the Sundance channel and this really caught my eye.

It's an autobiographical film of Jonathon Cauoette... he started filming it when he was 11 and finished the film at 30.  It basically deals with growing up with a Schizophrenic mom.

There was something I connected to while watching this & I'm not sure what it was.  I don't think this is a movie for everyone - but I really enjoyed it.

It's on Sundance already?!  Is it even on DVD yet?!

It's gotten very, very good reviews.

Yeah, it was out in May I believe on DVD.

I wish I could give a better review, but I'm still processing a lot of it.  It's odd because I now feel this bond to a person I've never had any interaction with... a person I didn't even know existed until last night.

There's something about this man that's just beautiful.

definately different from someone who can talk to anyone about anything.  When someone throws caution to the wind, opens the door to their heart and life and allows you to see it as raw and unedited and as real as possible, its can cause an amazing draw to that person.
