Word is that they're looking at trimming it down from three hours after the abyssmal box office showing for Grindhouse.

they could probably turn this movie into a 4 hour extravaganza with an intermission and still be fine.
They could do it as a 3.5 hour Vilgot Sjoman film and fans would still see it.
They could film Rowling taking a crap for three hours, present it in smell-0-vision, and people would still see it.

That's one of things that I'm looking forward to the most.
Apparently this no name TV show director who did this one did a good job, because Warner's has hired him for part 6 as well.
