I have given up on Invasion

I watched the first two episodes.  I don't care about any of the characters.  I'm not interested in what the aliens are really up to.  I've had enough of government conspiracies.  The two-families angle is just silly.  There's not enough dramatic tension.  And I'm sick to death of the "precocious daughter who knows something important to the plot" angle.

This should've been a six-hour miniseries.  That would've been plenty of time to tell the whole story.

Yesterday morning, I took it off my #2 VCR.  Hope everyone else enjoys it.

Nope, I'm not even sure how many episodes there have been, but I still don't care about any of it.  Surface at least had a cool idea, but it's similarly uninvolving.  The only one of those shows worth paying attention to still, for me, has been Threshold.

That could be due to Carla Gugino, however.

Probably.  Even in business clothes, she's still hot.
