Yeah, I've never read him, either. I thought I asked to borrow one of his books, but I borrowed Lovecraft instead. I got them mixed up. I still haven't read the Lovecraft.

They are absolutely nothing alike other than the pervasive sense of nihilism. It really isn't uplifting literature, very much gallows humor. Vonnegut presented it in cutting social satire as opposed to non-Euclidiean gelantious horrors.
