Wine suggestions on menus.

Do you think that is insulting when they have a wine listed next to a menu item?  Are they suggesting you're not educated enough to choose your own wine?  I don't drink wine so I have no idea.

They have huge margins on every single bottle.  As a rule, the price of what you pay for a glass of it, is what they paid for the bottle.  So every glass after the first glass if profit.  It's a brilliant technique.
