Title: Nintendogs
Post by: sugar_grrl on September 01, 2005, 01:57:59 PM
I have become one of the people that I want to hit over the head with a bat and throw down a laundry chute from the top floor of a really tall hotel.  I bought a Nintendo DS for ONE game....Nintendogs.  I bought two other games (Wario Touched and the OG Metroid), but I spend all my time playing with my puppies.
The reason I bring this up, is because I want to see if I am alone.  Has anyone else bought a gaming system for one game?
Oh, I was just thinking about this some more, and I also bought a new computer to play City of Heroes (my graphics card on my old computer wouldn't support it).....hmmm...this seems to be a trend with me.  But buying a new computer doesn't make me want to bludgen myself with blunt objects....

Yes.  I bought a PlayStation to play Final Fantasy 7, way back in the day.

It was teh_awesome.  I'm really tempted to buy it again for $5 and play it again.  Never could beat Ruby Weapon... beat all of the Weapons except Ruby and the one you had to breed Chocobos for, because the Chocobo breeding game was the biggest pile of crap mini game I ever played.

FF7 was one of the first RPG's that I really got into.  I love that game.  I don't think I completed 100 percent...I'm happy with beating the boss and calling it a day.

I still don't know why I bought a Game Cube.  I only play my PS2.

I still have FF7.  I wore my playstation out with that game to the point where the video wouldn't play any more.  I play it on my PS2.  I also play with my Gamecube and Xbox regularly.

What are some good Gamecube games?  I have Metroid, one of the starwars, and a racing game.  I've only played the racing game.

Super Monkey Ball

Luigi's Mansion

Wallace & Gromit's over the shoulder RPG/Adventure game isn't bad

Super Smash Bros Melee

My wife "owns" the GameCube.  But I play it sometimes.

Role Playing Game

And then there's my fave, the MMORPG

Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game...I would waste so much time talking if it weren't for acronyms....

Luigi's Mansion is impossible.  Yes, I know it's a kids game - but it's fucking hard.  Humping the furniture is fun though.

Also, Bounty Hunter is unbelievably fun.

LM isn't that difficult.  Complicated, but not horrible.  I beat it in a few weeks.
