I've never read any of the Earthsea books, but I figured with all of the voracious readers on here that someone probably had.

I think it's interesting that it's Miyazaki's son that is directing, and that Miyazaki apparently has a problem with his son being a director.

I read The Left Hand of Darkness by Le Guin for a class in college. It was pretty good, but it didn't make me want to rush out and read anything else by her.
