Mad Idiotic Fruity Candy

I've never heard of this stuff before, and I'm really curious as to how old it is.

The candy is UGLY.  It's all these gross colors, kind of shaped like nerds, clumped together, and it's mushy and sour.  I think it might be from 1985, when Mad Magazine was actually popular.
