I saw a trailer for this when I took my kids to see Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.  It looked to be pretty darned funny.

It was wonderful wonderful wonderful.... if you're a fan of W & G.

Only low point is when you could tell that Dreamworks was telling Nick Parks to add gutter humor.  Hence, boob, ass, and belching jokes (just a few, really) are there amidst the character comedy.  Aside from that, marvelous.

Also, the new Xmas short featuring the Madagascar penguins that is attached to the front was pretty entertaining, though lacking any subtlety like all Dreamworks CGI.

I also greatly enjoyed W&G.  The burping wasn't TOO bad; in fact, it didn't seem terribly out-of-place.  The scene in the garden with all the sexual innuendo also seemed like it fit, although the "melons" were a bit obvious.

If I had any problem with the film, it's that it was so British that many kids really wouldn't understand some of it.  Like all the nicknames Wallace gives to Gromit -- Jock, Lad, et al.  Also, the phrase "veg"... how many four- or five-year-olds would get that off the bat?

I liiked all the little references to the three shorts, and the homage to Snoopy vs the Red Baron.  Also, the bit where Gromit is looking for another 10p piece is pretty amusing.
