It warrants mentioning that while a solid rock songwriter, Pirner was(is?) not the greatest lyricist.

I still don't understand why the song "Just Like Anyone" was a combination of teenage angst and going to the bathroom in an outhouse.  It escapes me to this day.

That was from "Let Your Dim Light Shine".  I still listen to to Grave Dancers Union.   Again its one of those CDs whose best tracks WEREN'T radio played.  Without A Trace, invoked some nice imagery, though the LA Riots or whatever references on Black Gold, sounds even more outdated than on that Sublime song.
