Being set in Luke Skywalker's younger days is probably going to mean 78% less Jedi action.  That kinda sucks.

Maybe they'll bring back the Falcon from Buck Rogers and have him do cameos with that great Eagle head/hair thing.

If Lucas had an original bone in his body there wouldn't be one recognizable character outside of Vader and the Emperor in this series.  I don't need to see Luke whining his way to Tashii Station.  Frankly, nothing he did pre-Obi Wan is at all of interest.  Show me how the galaxy changed and introduce some new interesting characters.  Otherwise, stop banging the same pot.
