Title: Love and other near-death experiences

This one is, without a doubt, way stranger than either of his first two books.  As usual, there were a lot of funny bits and one scene that nearly made me convulse with laughter.  Does employ a little bait-and-switch, and the narrative of the American character is a little too British, but overall very good.  Really makes you believe that Rob went through something truly horrible even though, to the best of my knowledge, Millington never actually SAYS what happened to Rob to screw him up.

Worth buying, or at least renting.

Well he didn't used to be.  But then he made a novel out of TMGAIHAA, which is now in the process of being turned into a screenplay.
