I enjoyed the first flick, but I've never really understood it's huge popularity.  For one thing, I thought it was way longer than it needed to be.

I'll probably go see the new one, but I'm not all that excited about it.

Loved the first one and am looking forward to the second.  I just hope they don't "over-Disnify" or "over-Hollywoodize" the franchise cecause it looks perilously close to both.


Side note:  I heard they shot both 2 and 3 simultaneously to save money and time in the overall process.  I also heard, true or not, that the third would come out in August but I think that would be silly and personally would think they'd aim for December.  By December, the DVD of 2 would be out and would help bolster both box office of 3 and store receipts of 2..
