Poll
Question: Who Should I Put on My Roster?
Option 1: Baltimore vs. Cincinatti
Option 2: Seattle vs. Tampa Bay
Title: Football Defense
Post by: Alice on September 06, 2007, 09:47:27 AM
So my friends actually started a FF league this year.  I have Baltimore and Seattle defense.  I can't decide who to put in this week.  What should I do?

I pick Baltimore because their uniforms are better.  Stronger.

Purple?  This is football, Nancy.

Though Ray Lewis did kill someone, so maybe they are tough.

Purple's a strong color.  It's better than boring seahawk blue.

Purple is a secondary color.

While Baltimore matches up well against anyone, it's much more likely that Tampa will struggle on offense making Seattle the safer bet.

Sounds like this guy could have used a better defense.

I'll never understand why people in places like that are such fans of college football, when they so clearly never went to college themselves.

people who went to college also get in pointless brawls?  Also, if he is a federal auditor so he is probably a mild mannered accountant and deacon by day....

also, choose Baltimore.  Matt Leinart has a better chance against the Seahawks than Pennington has against a strong wind.

I just read Pennington is likely to sit because of his ankle and that backup Clemens is prone to making mistakes because he's young and inexperienced.  I'd definately go Baltimore this week.

Related to the testicle fight above, I read this tidbit in the article:
"Thomas, who once lived in Houston and became a Texas fan during the heyday of star running back Earl Campbell, is still recovering from his injuries but has returned to work as a meat cutter at a Sam's Club warehouse store."

Anyone else notice the humor in him being a meat cutter?  Maybe it's just me.  I'm home sick today and drugged up on decongestents.

The games already happened.

And Seattle's defense was much higher in points than Baltimore.
