Credit where's it due.  Despite some obvious and silly plot points, it's off to a stronger start than I was ready to give it credit for.  I like the sci-fi aspects.

The pre-premier thing was stupid.  Why not just say, "We know you've forgotten what this show was about, here are some clips."

Did Sylar just want to toy with Claire while she was locked in the closet?  Surely he could have gotten her if he wanted to.

When my political aspiring figures start spouting god-talk and talking to a figure only they can see, they need to be in space, British, and that imaginary friend needs to be a drop dead gorgeous blond robot.

So all it takes is four years for all these douche bags to start wearing leather?  Even Claire?

When my scientists involve themselves in their own experiments, start climbing walls and having super strength that comes with horrible consequences, those scientists need to be Jeff Goldblum.

Someone please put a time capsule in the ground for future peter petrelli.  A popped up collar on a leather jacket doesn't make him look cool, it just makes him look like an ass. 

They're not going to stop bringing people back until Elvis and Abe Lincoln are alive.

I watch the show and enjoy it for what is while it's on.  Then I get a week to think about it and it pisses me off that it's been so stupid and by the time it's Monday again I want to give up but I watch anyway because I've come this far and I'm back to square one again.

A commentator over at AICN summed up his frustrations thusly:
