Vinegar?
Tomato?
Mustard?

I like all three but prefer mustard.

Rib.  Wet or dry rub?

I prefer slathered in sauce.
16:15:43 [Gamplayerx] Juneau, I could really go for some pie. You better Belize it!

Beefy

No such thing in my universe.

I like a castup based...vinegar is ok too.

I don't eat ribs.

I like BBQ pulled chicken.

Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

If it is going to have sauce on it already then I prefer mustard.  There's a place locally that has an all-you-can-eat buffet, but the meat tastes like it was soaked in vinegar, which makes it taste pretty bad.

There's another place here called Kelly's that is just awesome, IMHO.  They have pulled pork BBQ that is seasoned, but they don't put any sauce on it.  They have homemade sides that are awesome, and homemade peach cobbler.  On Thursdays they have all-you-can-eat fried catfish, too.

It's big around here.  Most other regions don't have it.

Clint's right.

Good mustard-based sauce.  But his brother is a racist.

I'd say vinegar then mustard with ketchup coming in last.

Joe's BBQ in Alvin Tx is pretty good.

Fat Boys BBQ in Florida also very strong.

But the best I've ever eaten in my life, is Mickelbob's BBQ in Florida.  They've won about 30 state championships and almost a dozen nationals.  They have two sauces, one tangy and sweet and one spicy and vinegary.  Mix them together and it's pure heaven on meat!  That sauce could make my shoe taste like a 4 star dinner.

dazie

I like a sweet sauce with a little zing at the end.  Usually a tomato base I guess- not the vinegary kind.

I like to get my ribs and brisket and pork dry, then put the sauce on it by myself.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

ursus

I've never had a mustard based BBQ. I like different kinds at different times. Mostly I've had tomato/brown sugar, but occaisionally I've had vinegar.

I loved that cracker's letters. He hasn't studied much, but he seems firm in his convictions.
I was just wondering...

Jessie

The place that I put out of business was awesome.  Their ketchup and mustard based sauces were good.  I like to make homemade bbq.  I need to find that recipe again.

I like ribs cooked in the sauce.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.
