I thought this type of weirdness in normal in the south?

What struck me about this was the immediate leap from tissuejet printers to bacon.  I mean, who doesn't love bacon-as one of my students said, "It's the candy of meat!"-but why not talk about skin for burn victims or other repairs?  Bacon?  From a printer?  Gives me the jibblies.
