I had this salad at a Spanish restaurant the other night, made it tonight at home. I haven't quite figured out the proportions yet, but it was yummy!
cubed oranges (I peeled mine- the restaurant didn't)
cubed apples (the restaurant used Granny Smith, I used Gala)
red grapes
cubed pears
fennel seed (grind coarsely- not to dust, but enough to release the taste)
chevre cheese
Drizzle with "white wine honey vinagrette" (I put a dab of white wine in the honey- I supposed it would taste just as fine without)
Good stuff. Next time I'm going to add raisins.
