my wife went gricery shopping the other day. I only asked for two things, batteries for the smoke detecters, and milk.

she forgot both of them.  I DID SAY THANK YOU FOR GOING SHOPPING, though.

i want to firebomb my kroger. i have carried rotten produce up to the manager's office to ask him if this is what he feeds his family. i also once fomented rebellion in the checkout line on a friday afternoon when there was only one person on a register and 15 people waiting to check out. the scan-yourself lines were down for some computer changeover thing.

i hate my kroger. i end up there because it's 3 blocks away, but i hate it.

i want beefy's kroger. his kroger is like kroger grocery heaven.

you didn't *ask* for it. i thought the whole thing was that you had *asked* your wife to pick up stuff for you and then she didn't. i picked up what you *asked* for - milk.

I just got back from the grocery store, $424 poorer, but with tons of yummies!  Except, no sandwich rolls.  For some reason, those seemed to be a popular item just about now.

I think I need to resubscribe to the newspaper and start clipping coupons again.
