I just got back from this place that was so much better than I thought it would be.  It is a brand new Thai/Philipine/Japanese buffet style place.  On the buffet tables is a lot of Thai and Philipine dishes that I can't pronounce, but the pancit is really good and they have a lot of salmon and pork dishes.  The Japanese portion is set up mongolian bbq-style.  So I heaped up a plateful of steak and shrimp and veggies and handed them to sushi-san and he cooked it all right up for me, and put it on a bed of fried rice.

I had carrot cake for dessert.

Not too shabby for $6.50.

Today I had three grilled chicken soft tacos with fresh salsa at the new mexican place.  It was actually really healthy.  I gave up on the tortillas after a few minutes though and just ate the filling with a fork.

i was going to have a delectable ham and cheese sandwich, on oatmeal bread with mayo and baby spinach for my lunch.

but i just ate it for breakfast, so ... i'm having i have no idea what for lunch. a big glass of water, maybe.

That sounds so good.  The sammich, not the water.

it *was* a very awesome sandwich. a very good batch of ham, and i sliced the cheddar cheese kind of thick. lots of cheesy goodness!!!

baby spinach on sandwiches is the deal.
You lost a few points with the yellow cheese.  Change to swiss and we're golden.

Mmm, leftovers.

Last night Anthony came over for dinner.  I baked chicken with onions and carrots and dumped cream of chicken soup over the whole thing.  We had mashed potatoes and green beans and corn, too.

It made for a good lunch.  Now I need a nap.

Now I need a nap.

Me too, but it has nothing to do with what you ate for lunch.
