Title: Final Fantasy 7
Post by: Listener on July 15, 2006, 06:35:29 PM
If anyone is in a video game store or used game/music shop and sees a copy of Final Fantasy VII for either Playstation or PC, and it costs $20 or less, and you have a spare $20, could you pick it up and I'll pay you back, plus the shipping?

I don't use eBay, although I did look there.

I'm Joe's roommate, but Jared moved out a few months ago. He lives with Geoff.

12 is the next one, true, but they've realized just how many people want sequels to existing FF worlds as well as new FF worlds to play in, so they're doing sequels.

The FF7 continuum:

-Before Crisis
-Crisis Core (cellphone game)
-FF7 (psp)
-FF7 Advent Children (movie)
-Dirge of Cerebrus (ps2)

The FFX continuum:

-FFX (ps2)
-FFX-2 (ps2)

There've always been rumors that FF7 will be repurposed as a fully 3D game a la FFX or X-2, but I doubt it.

PC or Playstation.  Playstation would be preferred, if I have a choice, but I can play it on my lappy as well.  Thanks.

BTW, if you still have that Visio you were going to (ahem) lend me, I have a new address for you to send it to, so PM me about that if you would.

oh crap, I forgot about that. The (ahem) extra copy my brother had wouldn't work. I installed it on my machine and it wouldn't activate. It seems the security is tight on Visio and there aren't enough hackers who want it to crack it right.

It's all good.  Thanks for trying.

Jeez.

People are selling it for $30 on eBay but I really don't like using eBay.

These rumors exist in bizarro world, where "purpose" means "gurgitate."

Someone got into my account somehow and managed to defraud me out of $1600 on my credit card.  Fortunately, I got the money back, but it was scary for a while and I had to spend about 20 hours on the phone (not concurrently) to convince the credit card company that I didn't owe an overlimit fee because of the fraud perpetrated upon me.

I'm trying it tonight; maybe I can get a copy for less than $50 with shipping included.  Hopefully it works out for the best.

Why not just use paypal?  I've never had any problem with them, and as far as I know they're still quite reputable.

I could get pissed because there was no "Run like hell!" option
