I went to the general store.  They wouldn't let me buy anything specific.

Anybody else interested?

Or are you all sick of adapted comix?

I'm going, yesser...
I was just wondering...

ignom

I've never read the comic, but the movie looks interesting. It has a pretty good cast.

I know beefy will see it just for Josh Hartnett.
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

Beefy

It has enough going for it that I'll go.  That said, I think they may have taken the whole adaption thing a bit too far.

Bishamonten

they're going too far into making it look exactly like Frank Millers work.  While I love the Sin City books, I think they're going to end up with a campy looking film.  Also, I think they may be packing too much into one film.  Last count I saw said it was 3 books in one film.  That's a lot of material to do justice too.  I'm cautiously optimisitic.  The casting of Clive Owen as Dwight, was inspired though.

Jessie and I watched Sin City last night. It was neat.

ReBurn

I'm watching it now.  I hope at some point tonight I'll be able to sleep.

Jessie

I liked it.  It was weird.  I liked the way it looked.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

Beefy

I still haven't seen two worse performances by anyone on screen this year than Michael Madsen and Jessica Alba in that movie.

Jessie

I'm trying to remember Michael Madsen's role.

Jessica Alba kissing Bruce Willis grossed me out some.

Michael Madsen definitely sucked in that move.  But he sucks in most movies, in my opinion.

He's the one who played Bruce Willis' partner.

He totally carried the movie.

How bad do you have to be that your sucktitude outweighs Hartnett's?  Pretty damn bad.

Jessie, Madsen was Bruce Willis's partner(?) at the beginning of the film who betrays him.

One day I hope to be as cool as Rutger Hauer.

No one is as cool as Rutger Hauer.

Except maybe Dolph Lundgren.

Yeah.  It's definitely a toss-up there.

I didn't even recognize Rutger. After the opening credits, I completely forgot he was in the movie.

Alice

Yeah, Madsen wasn't great.

However, the man makes me drool - so I think my brain just glosses over his bad acting and makes him appear okay.

Jessica Alba always sucks.  I can't stand that girl.

ReBurn

She's pretty easy on the eyes.

I enjoyed the film but it's been so long since I saw it in the theatres I can't remember anything about it.  Josh Hartnet was in it?  I've forgotten a lot.  And yeah, Madsen sucks in almost everything.  You should see him in Species II.  Despite the fact that the WHOLE movie was terrible, he was even more so.  The ONLY thing that carried that film or the one before it was Natasha's bod.  And I use the term "carried" very loosely.

DownSouth

Jessica Alba will never be hotter than she was in Idle Hands.
16:15:43 [Gamplayerx] Juneau, I could really go for some pie. You better Belize it!
