I hope this crap isn't true.

Personally I think Jason Statham would make a better bond. He's charming, attractive and looks damn good in a tux. Who would you like to see as the next bond?
full of mulatto goodness since 1979!

Beefy

Clive Owen, but he said no.

Actually, they ought to just shoot that franchise in the head.  It's done.

cnamon

I don't know.  Not Orlando Bloom.  He is too cute.  Statham is a little to rugged.

Perhaps Clive Owen.

ignom

Clive Owen turned them down because it would typecast his acting career or something like that.

I think they need to get George Lazenby to reprive the role.
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

No F in WHEY!
Bring back Mr. Connery....do it....now....
Have you ever seen a llama kiss a llama on the llama?

Alice

Jason Statham would not fit the role.  He's my #1 celebrity crush, but he couldn't pull off 007.  I really like Daniel Craig - he's got the ability to pull of the Bond attitude.  I think it's a great fit.

Mr. Ubiquity

I dunno, i think Pierce Brosnan did the best of them all.  Had the suave charming and sophisticated look, the accent you assume with a role like that.   Sean was the man , but i think currently peirce was the best.

You know how I feel about the sean.. but um we can't have bond popping viagra before he gets it on with a bond hottie.

This guy is supposedly instrumental in the breakup of Jude Law and Sienna Miller.

Yes.  I read the tabloids at the grocery store.  Sue me.

I think the guy that played the bad guy in Goldeneye would be a good Bond.  What's his name?  Sean something.

I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

Listener

Since Clive Owen doesn't want it, there's really no one I can recommend.  I mean, there are a lot of British actors I like, but none that would fit the profile except Jason Statham... the problem is that Statham is too... too odd-looking, somehow, to look the part.

Give one of the hot young brits about ten years.  He'll be able to do it.

Beefy

Mothball Bond and spend a few films following around Halle Berry's character from Die Another Day.

They need to make some movies based on Joe Don Baker's CIA character Jack Wade. He's no Felix Leiter, though.

Or a new Mitchell movie, even.
