Never Say Never Again.

Got it in the "We'll just throw it away if you don't buy it" bin.

Probably should have left it...
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

Klaus Maria Brandauer is really good.  He's always good.

I saw that as a kid and liked it, but didn't know it was a remake of Thunderball at the time.

I  Thunderball.

dazie

I concur- Thunderball is very hip.

Have you read the books?

OOO- remote control sharks.  I'm trying to figure out if they have laser beams attached to their heads...

Not a one.  Reviews of his writing have never been that kind.

Stay away from "Live or Let Die" if badly written, mostly racist patois might offend.  (it is dreadful and embarassing)

AND- Fleming had a thing about Koreans- "beneath contempt" is, I believe, how he classified the entire race.

However, that aside, the books are interesting and give a more rounded story- the side characters especially are more fleshed out, especially Felix Leiter.

Casino Royale is especially good.  I'm on "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" right now.  When I read Thunderball I kept hearing the underwater fight scene music in my head, so that was a little disturbing.

License to Kill is my favorite followed closely by Goldeneye.

I loved playing that game with the gameshark on.  Casey would always get pissed because I would kill her in the multiplayer fight.

Timothy Dalton FTW!!!

Bennyhana

I thought I was the only one who liked Timothy Dalton.

Beefy

We should start an exclusive club.  There's far too few of us and we need to band together.

Gamplayerx

I don't care for Timothy Dalton as Bond.  At all.  Yick.

I'm with you.

IMO it's:

1. Connery
2. Craig
3. Brosnan
4. Lazenby
5. Moore/Dalton  (they're both the suxxor)

I liked Dalton but that's cause I liked him in Flash Gordon back in the day.

Never Say Never was pretty weak.  Even seeing it as a kid I knew it wasn't nearly as good as For Your Eyes Only.  Octopussy and A View to a Kill were also pretty bad overall but are some of my favorites simply because I watched them as a kid.

Golden Eye was one of the best video games in the history of video games.  It completely revolutionized the first person shooter for the non-PC world.

Never Say Never isn't a "true" James Bond movie, which does explain some of the suck, but it still makes me sad that Connery agreed to do it.

Seeing Connery without the Sean part makes it look/sound like Engrish.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

But only if you're talking about Jennifel Connery, amirite?
11:42:24 [Gamplayerx] I keep getting knocked up.
