Title: Packing bags?
Post by: dazie on May 30, 2005, 05:31:45 PM
Do any of you have those bags that you fill up then suck all the air out with the vacuum?  If so- could I borrow them to move?  I'd send them back after I get to KS.

OR- do any of you know where I can find them?

Thanks!

OOO!  We have one of those here!

If I can't schmooze some out of people for borrowing, I'll definitely go over there.

Yay! :hop:

Have you ever used them before?  I haven't.  But someone was telling me this story about how a friend of theirs used them to pack for a trip so they could take a smaller suitcase.  All was well until it was time to pack to go home - guess you gotta take a nozzle vacuum with ya.

If you're quick to tie it off, you can do the same thing with trashbags.  Works especially well on bags full of pillows and/or comforters.

I haven't.  But I've heard they're very handy.

I wouldn't use them for traveling though, who wants to take a vacuum??

Hatt- I'm not coordinated enough to use a trashbag.

I always wondered about the commercial where the guy on the motorcycle used those.  Did he just throw everything away after he opened the bag?

For some reason, I read this as meat packing.
