I think this is old news that I am just now getting exposed to.  If so, sorry.

I wonder if these scenes actually got aired?

Yep.  They aired.  Well, sort of aired.  It's a two-parter, so some of that's in the next episode.

She's a loony.

Wow.  For some reason, when I watch that clip, I can't help but notice the awkward pauses where she's trying to think of something to say.  I think to myself how small her vocabulary is, and how much of that small vocabulary is occupied by words in the bible and it makes me sad.

One would think that god would chose someone a bit more.... stable... to be one of his "warriors."

Get the hell out of my house, in Jesus' name I pray.

Gold.

People who go on that show should have their children taken away from them.

That woman is a riot.  I can't wait to see the second part of that train wreck.

CPS so needs to get involved with these families.

eo, your avatar made me give my nose a beer bath.

I saw the commercial for part 2.  I don't think I could watch more than a few minutes of her before wanting to put my foot through the monitor.

There are some people that become better husbands, wives & parents because of being on that show.

Stryper!

How can you tape that and not want to slap her?  I'd rather watch Ron Jeremy.

I've rarely seen any episode of any of these types of shows where the kids don't seem completely traumatized.  If you want self improvement, find some way to do it that doesn't make your kids miserable.

I haven't Serenity as I want to "save myself" for the right moment.  There is an impending sense of doom i don't want to run through the episodes too quickly, but I want to watch like 5 every night.

To not derail, that woman has like weird teeth.  Ned Flanders handled the Simpson kids lack of faith much better.

I'd like to believe that, but these shows are doctored to push specific buttons within us and don't necessarily reflect actual reality.  I wouldn't put it past the Big Networks to exploit these families and leave them.  Though they're all getting paid, obviously.

Oh, and The Real World ain't all that real.

But Laguna Beach is!

(Okay, I know it's not really... and no, I still have no clue how I became addicted to it.)

Okay.  But small and in beige for people who don't want to know.  Margaret Perrin is a very large, not attractive loony loon who God apparently has chosen to speak directly to.  And she takes that blessing seriously.  She don't abide no slagkicks or gargoyles.  Keep your tainted money out of her house.  The story is that she swapped homes with a woman who believes in astrology - a very nice woman who has a few wacky ideas, but tolerant and open minded.  God warrior on the other hand goes to her "new family"'s house and has conniption after conniption.  I realize as I type this that I have no idea how to spell conniption.
