I chopped up a watermelon today and had too much to put in the bowl I was using, so I put a bunch in gallon baggies.  To one of the baggies I added the dregs of vodka that was lingering in one of the bottles in the freezer.  I put that bag of melon in the freezer.  We'll see how it turns out- I could make watermelon booze slushies tonight!  woo!

When I was younger we would punch a hole in a watermelon and pour Everclear in it and let it sit overnight.  Good stuff to sit on the porch at the beach and eat on a nice day.

Well, since my damn family came home a day early, I couldn't sit on my porch and get all f**ked up like I'd planned.  So the melon is still in the freezer.

buy some oranges and a syringe.  inject absolut mandarin into the orange and let it sit overnight.  never tried it, i just thought of it.  so let me know how it turns out.
