Kyle XY - an x-files spinoff?

I happened to catch the last ten minutes of Kyle XY the other night. It was ok.
But at the very end there was a guy sitting in a car, and you breifly saw his face. It was Ratboy (aka Agent Krycek) from the X-Files. I thought that was cool so I decieded to watch it the next week.
The next week had more of Krycek, and it was obvious he was holding his left arm up and not using it at all. As if his left arm had been cut off and now he just had a fake one. (Krycek's left arm was sawed off in the X-Files.)

I jumped on the 'net and found several forums that thought what I thought. What if Kyle XY is a spinoff of the X-Files?

I've seen all the episodes of Kyle XY and it easily could be. He could either be a young bounty hunter who lost his memory, or more likely, the last clone of Mulder who is immune to the alien virus.

I actually joined another forum just to dicuss it. True or not, just the thought of it has me hooked to Kyle XY.

Then I logged in this morning and saw this post:

You idiots. X-Files was on Fox. Kyle XY is on ABC. DUH!

I didn't watch the X Files, so I have no idea who Krycek is or what you're talking about.  The boy who plays Kyle is very cute.

they effed that up so bad. It could have been a great show.

I can't believe they killed The Lone Gunman off. That was a very bad idea.

I think Fox hates it viewers. They treat great shows like Firefly like crap.
