I'm seeing Cake in concert again tomorrow. Yay me!
Is it at a club or a stadium or a pavilion? Did you get backstage passes? Will there be lawn seats and picnic blankets? Glow sticks? Are they the main attraction?
EDIT: will there be pie?

Outdoor stadium, I think. No :(. I do not believe so. Not with me. Yes.
EDIT: I doubt it.
They came to campus a couple weeks ago. I didn't know they were going to be here until they'd come and gone. Apparently, in their rider, it's required that you provide them with a 5-6 foot tall fruit-bearing tree, which they give away to one of their audience members who answers a trivia question right.
I want to win their tree!
Second row, center stage. Just plain awesome.
The girl in front of us got the tree.
We got some of the guitar player's birthday cake though. They gave some to about 20 of us who waited for the crowd to die down. So, for those of you who asked, "Food or music," the answer is now BOTH, BItches. I ate cake with Cake.
Oh, and I ran into two of Timothy's uncles there. Luckily they like me. Well, one of them does. The other, the youngest, was kind of standoffish.
CAKE sucks.
She had her Cake and ate it too?

We talked for a good long while. His oldest uncle and I used to be really close when Timothy was little. I met his wife, who was very nice. We just caught up, and I showed them pictures and stuff. Timothy has a few sane relatives, and this one uncle is one of them.
It was awkward, because I think we both almost hugged each other, but then didn't.
Pictures!
"Stop taking pictures of me Misty." and later "Damn, my boobs are hanging out."

Guitar player from the opening act who looked like Matthew Fox. He exuded this coolness that made him incredibly sexy. Plus, cute dimples.

The tree in the audience, post dance-off.
Oh, I didn't tell you about the dance off. They told this girl MAYBE she could have the tree after the show, then they made her have a dance off to keep it. She danced like a stripper. I was a little embarrassed for her.

I didn't think you were knocking them. I'M NOT DEFENSIVE DAMN.
The guitar player turned 38 yesterday. So yeah. In some circles, they could be grandpas.
