The review on that page makes a good point.  She couldn't stay angry Liz forever and still be compelling.  And Liz herself says that she has a child to support and there should be nothing wrong with her wanting to go more mainstream.  Both are true.  But the fact is, the hits off that last album were written by the same folks that write Avril's hits and you could tell.  It was okay, but it just wasn't as good as the earlier stuff.

She signed my copy of her second disc.  She was so beautiful in person I could barely speak.

I got to see her at the Lilith Fair support that album.  That was an odd one.  Liz was defanged somewhat yet not really aiming for mainstream.  It was like she trying to do her version of a Tori Amos album.
