The bride is trying to save money by making her own Save the Date cards and invitations and whatnot. She sent me her design to see if I thought it was okay. It really wasn't, looked super homemade.
Soooo... since plans got cancelled tonight, I thought I'd try and design an alternative for her. What do you guys think? Do you have any other ideas?
The colors are cornflower blue, a darker blue and then almost a buttercream yellow.

P.S. I really hate that flower, but it's what she wants so it has to stay.
I like the next to the last one.
Here's one without the godawful flower. I may throw it in there in hopes that she likes it.

Also, these are going to be a bit bigger than a business card, so hopefully the damned pixelated flower will be less pixelated.
You know I adore you, but it's what she wants that's important. Not whether it's the best graphic design. If she likes the original, stick to it.

Nice red x, dick.
Actually, it's not a red x, but it's not a picture, either.

I made her these too. They match the style of the ones she was looking at online that she really liked - but I think she thought she wouldn't be able to make it in this style with what she had. So I figured since I have Photoshop I could at least try a few for her:

Oops, missed that part. Apologies.

No apology necessary. Most brides need people to stick up for them with this stuff, so I completely understand where you were coming from.
I'd be fine if she went with her original, she's just the kind that really wants me to do it but doesn't want to out right ask.
I really like the 3rd one down in the new set.

That's the one she wants to go with. But we're going to try some color variants - maybe making the background of their names yellow and the stripe the lighter blue.

That would be my choice, too. Or the one above it.
She's marrying a dude named Angus?

Yup. He's Angus IV, too.

If you like that sort of thing, yes. Most people find that tacky though.
