Oh crap man who am I going to be stuck with this year on New Year's??

Except the past two years we have realized that it was midnight at about 11:59 and quickly turned on the tv to watch the ball drop and then turned it back off.

I missed Dick Clark's final performace because I had to drink and play cards!!! Curse you, hand of fate!!

Oh yeah.  You couldn't pay me to watch that irritating fuck.  Me and my brother were sitting around at Christmas and I told him about Clark and how they were getting someone else.  He jokingly said Regis.

When I was younger I used to get up early in the summer so I could watch Regis and Kathie Lee, and I would make pancakes.

No matter who they get, nobody can just come in and replace Dick Clark. He was an Icon.  Kinda like Burt Parks for the Miss USA pagent.  He didn't have to be good, he just had to be the one to do it.  Some people cannot be replaced... they can only be succeeded.
