This is an easy recipe that makes people say "OOO!" when they taste it. Good for little goody bags at holiday time.
People Chow
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 11-1/2 Oz (1 pkg.) chocolate chips (small bag)
1 12 ounce box of Honey Graham Cereal. (ok to use larger size w/o increasing other ingredients)
3 cups of powdered sugar
-Combine first 3 ingredients in a large pan.
-Cook over LOW heat; stirring constantly until the chocolate melts and is smooth.
-Add cereal to mixture; stirring to coat.
-Place powdered sugar in a plastic bag and add cereal.
-Toss mixture in bag GENTLY to coat with powdered sugar.
-Pour coated mixture onto TWO cookie sheets and let dry.
-Separate large pieces.
I'll take two pounds. :D
That sounds really good. I may have to make some on Saturday.
If you can find the two gallon ziplock baggies it works really well with them. I wouldn't recommend using anything smaller than 1 gallon.
